 •About Chef Phil• 

Chef Phil has had a love affair with food all of his life! The baking of his first cake when he was 7 years old started his journey into the world of pastries and confections. Throughout his childhood, a bevy of cookies, cakes, pies and other sweets were perfected. 


He once produced 43 dozen oatmeal cookies to help a fellow classmate win the student body presidency by a landslide!

In the early years, he perfected his craft by studying cake decoration and confectionary with some of the nation's best! His first wedding cake in 1978 started a venture that would span 29 years!


In 1990 Chef Phil had the opportunity to study baking and pastry arts at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York! It is here that he procured the recipe for his now famous German stollen(Christmas bread) that he has been making ever since.

In the years following culinary school Chef Phil has been the baking/pastry instructor at the Viking Culinary Arts Center in Atlanta, taught at Cook"s Warehouse/Atlanta, taught private confectionary classes and occasionally bakes professionally for discriminating clients!
